Steve Prziborowski is a 29-year fire service veteran currently recently serving as a Deputy Chief for the Santa Clara County (CA) Fire Department. He received the 2020 Ronny Jack Coleman Leadership Legacy Award from the Commission on Professional Credentialing/Center for Public Safety Excellence, and was named the 2008 California Fire Instructor of the year. He is the author of 101 Tips to Ace Your Promotional Exams (Fire Engineering Books & Videos, 2021), How to Excel at Fire Department Promotional Exams (Lulu Publishing, 2013), The Future Firefighter's Preparation Guide (Lulu Publishing, 2013), and Reach for the Firefighter Badge (Lulu Publishing, 2013).
He is the founder of Code3FireTraining through which he is an international speaker who travels extensively providing his Courage Under Fire Leadership sessions providing promotional preparation, leadership, and professional development training, topics he passionately speaks and writes about. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the Chabot College (CA) Fire Technology Program and the National Fire Academy. Having had the opportunity to coach, mentor and train thousands of individuals over the years, he has a sincere passion for helping others get hired and stay hired, get promoted and stay promoted, meet and exceed their goals, and ultimately be the best they can for those they are fortunate to lead and serve!
